A Thousand Reasons Why I Love You.....

At those cheesy cards and roses, I groan,

And at mindless morons, that romance spawn.

Love's a benumbed witch, I had presumed.

Yet, it killed all notions I'd ever groomed.

You think love's confined to the silverscreen,

But it stuns you, unlike things you've ever seen.

Why Love? My mind asked, 'Whats so great?'

I'll give you reason - a thousand, my mate.

When my eyes are moist and tears build,

You stop them and wont let them fall,

Then I'll tell you all my fears and guilt.

And you'll sort out all things, big and small.

When you smile, it makes me smile.

And when you frown, I do as well.

You're emotions drive my life all while,

We've been linked for life, I'll tell.

When we're near, and even if we hide,

It makes me blissful that you're just beside

When your skin gently rubs on my mine

I forget worries and feel all's just fine.

Have I told you I love the way you worry?

When you selflessly try to stop me being weary?

And when it's night, you're in my  thoughts,

I Know you're mine and you love me lots.

When we're totally jobless, it feels so great.

We tease, irritate and talk till it's indeed late.

And when its rains and its wet and cold,

You're with me as we walk down the road,

I love those moments, have you I told?

'Coz they do make memories of gold.

I'm lucky to have you, who know me inside out.

I Know, you'll love me howmuch ever I've fought.

We're too similar, weren't we bound to meet?

Indeed fate weaved our story, clean and neat.
